One thing I've discovered is that the Internet is like an old garden - you can walk away, but the volunteer seedlings will keep coming up and the rows you planted will keep their shape for a long time. The world of Google has a long memory...
So after being away from Worldwright for a long time, I've come back to till the soil.
This morning, I'm watching the snow melt and struggling with a sonnet (a form that continues to elude me) although I should be working on edits to Feral, my new novel set for publication in Fall 2010 by the good folks at Press 53. This dynamic small press out of Winston-Salem is doing great work, whether bringing back out-of-print classics or discovering great young talent.
